It’s early days, but for the first phase of the project our objectives are:
- Construct ~200 metres of accessible paths across the site
- Build foundations for a 12 x 4 metre polycrub on the site.
- Acquire and build a polycrub.
A polycrub is a rigid, poly-tunnel made from bits salvaged from the fishing industry and designed to withstand the Shetland winds. For more information on polycrubs click here.
Our polycrub will be used as a meeting place, somewhere that can provide shelter to people enjoying activities on the sport’s pitch, and as a growing space.
